Voidpak air handling units are suitable for a wide range of heating, ventilating and comfort cooling applications, such as; assembly halls, function rooms, classrooms, department stores, hotels laboratories, libraries, offices, restaurants, showrooms and supermarkets. Voidpak air handling units are specially designed for concealed application. Models VBH and VTH are suitable for horizontal application and are usually installed in the void formed between the roof slab and ceiling tiles. Access for maintenance purposes must be provided throughout the ceiling for model VBH and through the roof for model VTH. Models VTH can also be roof mounted - but a suitable weatherproof enclosure must be provided.
Alternately, model VTH can be installed under floor. Model VVH, usually with accessories inlet and outlet box, is suitable for installation in a recess, behind a fascia panel in the room being served or for installation in an adjacent room. Each basic model consists of a fan/filter section and heating coil. All models are designed for concealed application and are intended to provide filtered warm air heating and ventilating when used in conjunction with a pumped hot water and electrical supply. Limited 'free cooling' is possible by introducing fresh air, but when full comfort cooling is required, a cooling coil can be provided in addition to the heating coil. For cooling duty only, the heating coil can be omitted.
